Where the radiator fan switch? (need trouble shooting help)

My radiator fans stop working, I check all the fuse and relays and they are good. I just order some jumper wires so I can connect the battery to the fan directly, to test the fan themselves. If the fans work I herd that, I can test the radiator fan switch by shorting it out with a paper clip and see if the fans turn on, where is it? If the fans kick in, it is not a bad switch, it could be bad a thermostat, if the fans don't it could be a bad switch. That info sound right to you guys? And if the fans do not come on when I connect to the batt, I got a dead fan motor (time for new fan assembly) I still a noob in training. Thanks for all the help and support!

There isn't a fan switch. The closest thing you' have is a temp sensor. How do you know the fans aren't working, please give us more details so we know what you are working through.

Because..the pcm won't request the fans to turn on unless the temp hits ~216F or ~228F for high speed. Or.. if you turn on the ac.

It was going to the line where u see the the F looking thing in water. I connected a test lead to fans and it worked. I found out it was a short that was blowing a fuse over and over and I moved the expose wire touching the car out of the way and replaced the fuse. Now My fans are working. Going fix the exposed wire with electrical tape.

On my GP, one of the lines before the red has that logo next to to it, and that how hot it was getting. The logo is located few lines above the 210F degrees mark. I found out later there no radior fan switch for the GP just thermostat. I fixed the problem since OP, it was a short that was blowing fuse #21 IGN-1UH.

Note: the pic not from my GP, my mom took my GP atm, since her car having issues right now so not able to take a pic atm since it not here right now.
