Where is the Transmission control module on an '08? Is this it?

working on an '08 grand prix with the tranny stuck in park and it will not move. A friend told me that if I unplug the transmisssion control module and leave it off for a minute, then plug it back in it may reset it and fix the problem. If that doesn't work I'm going to at least get a new TCM and replace it to hopefully avoid having the tranny rebuilt. Searches tell me it's in the bottom of the air intake box, so i opened it up and this is what I'm looking at right now. But it doesn't IMG_20260520_133437660_HDR.jpgIMG_20260520_133423930_HDR.jpgIMG_20260520_133431193_HDR.jpgBut it doesn't look like the tcm's I'm seeing on parts store pages, which is this. T42-TCM.webpI don't think what I'm seeing in the air box is the tcm, but there's nothing else in there. Anybody know A) what the pics from the air box are (ECU, maybe?), and B) where is the TCM located if this isn't it? I'm thinking my buddy said it would have a blue connector and one of the plugs has a blue release saddle (pulled down in the pic), but the other two being on a module that the sellers pics show only one connection. Mainly, I need to know where the TCM is if this isn't it. I'm getting ready to chase down the numbers on the module to see if I can figure out what it is, but I wanted to ask the experts (you all) first.

Ok, after opening up, then removing, the air intake box and tracing wire bundles all over the engine compartment looking for the TCM. I called Hwy 71 auto parts, where I had found pre-programmed TCM's for the car and asked them if they could help me figure out where this part was on my car. This is after i called the local GM/Chevy dealer, who couldn't find it. Sad, but true. Anyway, the lady at Hwy 71 took my VIN number and after a little searching, she found that there is no stand-alone TCM in these cars. The module That's pictured above that's in my car is a combination Power control module, ECU and TCM unit. I told her when I saw the blue receptacle, I wondered if that was it, but I wasn't going to mess with anything until i knew what I was dealing with. So the plug on the right side of the pic is the TCM section of the module. She told me if I need one they have them for $115 and they're pre-programmed by the VIN from the car. Bad news is, I pulled the plug like my buddy suggested, left it off for a couple of minutes, then plugged it back in and started the car, put it in reverse, but no movement. Now I have to decide if I want to stick another $115 in it and hope that's the problem or go ahead and have the tranny rebuilt. I hope the grandkids (16 and 17 year old brother and sister) appreciate what the old dude is going through on this.
