Where is the coolant temp sensor located?

Can't find it for the life of me. Also, there is a three wire femal connector around the right side of the oil filler tube. Can't find anything to connect it to. Thanks for the help
 


I know this is old. Anyone know where the sender is. I did the coolant temp sensor under the tstat house. Ive been told there is a coolant temp sending unit as well.

Looked on rock auto and they look like the same part though.
