Where is rear defogger relay wire? (and trunk relay wire)

Trying to install viper 5701.. found all wires but rear defogger and trunk relay wire.

the12volt.com's diagram says to get it from the switch, but I hear a relay clicking when I push trunk release button on my factory fob. (not when I push button)

and a wire from HVAC control controls rear defog? relay?
I want relay wires........

anyone?

Thanks,

You don't know what you're looking for at ALL do you...

Relay = switch so what wire of the relay are you looking for?

Relay != switch.

I look for the wire that triggers the relay that clicks when I push defog button on hvac.
(and yes, the trunk release button on my factory fob too.)

All your fuses & all your bulbs are good? You've checked your wiring to the defogger? Hmm. . . idk

ya it works, i just want to hook it up to my viper module; which isn't supposed to be connected directly to solenoid; only to relay.....

If you remove the plastic panels and the metal panel below the steering wheel(knee bolster) you will see 3 relays to the left of the steering column, I know the trunk release relay is the one that has a small brown wire going to it and that wire is a negative trigger to pop the trunk, I also believe that the defogger relay is there but not sure which one it is...

Hope this helps

If you need anymore help in this area Shoot me a message, I have had 7 w-body GP's and have installed somewhere in the range of 50,000 remote start or alarms
