Where is my Coolant Temp Sensor Wire!! Posted Vid



It should actually have a small 1-2 foot harness going from the ECT sensor to that plug in dangling by the oil cap. Your old harness looks like it was cut and spliced or just how it came. What year harness was that?
 
that old harness was a 96 oldsmobile 88. can i rip that off and wire it into the plug by the oil cap?
 


This is irritating. Someone with some 97 gtp knowledge help me out!! My brother went to go buy a stock 97 gtp. I'll look And post pics of the wiring when he comes back.

Thank you so much!!!!! However I can't find the adapter that went there. Maybe I'll make my own or see what I can do to splice something together. Unless someone can sell me there's??? What seems the most logical?
 
No problem I would use a factory harness, but thats just me. If you are good with splicing and soldering into the correct harness from the PCM then you should be fine.
 


Hixc Run to any local JY and browse the 3800's. You'll find one in record time and they shouldn't charge you much for it.
