Where could I get one? (+Photoshop request!)

Hey guys. I'm slowly but surely adding on to my car, and I got an interesting idea in my head the other day. I'm a huge Gears of War fan, and I'm looking for something to really make my car stick out. I was thinking of putting a vinyl of a Gears symbol of my car. They sell like 6" ones on Amazon, but I was thinking something to really make it shine. So, if somebody has some free time, I'd love to get a simple photoshop from somebody to show off my idea. Anyway, the vinyl is going to look like this (invert colors) :

On about this area of the car:

It's a relatively simple job for the skilled 'shopper, but I just wouldn't know how to do it. If anybody could put a picture up, it'd be appreciated.

As for the rest of you, what do you think of the idea? Where on earth could I get a vinyl like this made?

if noone beats me ill try to shop it 2maro. although honestly... you can find vinyl stickers already on the net (ebay etc.), but if you have to, throw it on the godam rear/passanger/whatever window. unless youre rocking a legit racekar (like all of us here tee hee) i dont think you should slap stickers on the body.

I'd appreciate a picture if you get the time (if you're really bored, you could try another on the window behind the passenger window just to see how it looks). I just think it'd be a neat thing to do, it's not like it's set in stone. I might put one on the window, one might not go on at all. Lord knows I change my mind about every 12 hours, so we'll see what happens.

Hey TJeno, I happen to do the vinyl jobs your looking for as a hobby. I have done some big ones, small ones and hood sized decals. I have mods and decals in the making for my 2000 GP GT. I could do a set of 2 for a decent price. As I said I do it as a hobby not a living. Then I could mail it to you. Food for thought.

With a picture like the Gears logo, I've got to wonder how it's going to be done. It'd have to be clear vinyl with the logo imprinted on it, because of the design. Or a really fkin complex reverse application which would never work with something that size.

Other issue you'll have is making that thing stick well going over the door mouldings and the door opening gap.
Interested in results though, kthx.

Just a few examples of what I have done. The red spider had a silver web behind it that ran the length of the car. The dragon went on the hood of a charger, covered half the hood. Email me at [email protected] if your interested.

Well Sean, the size is not an issue. I have done bigger and more complex decals. Even multi-colored. I can make a decal to whatever the mind can come up with, been doing it for years. The moulding is tricky, yes, but not impossible.

i think this would be better kept as a smaller quarter window decal than something that would take up a large area on the side of the car.

Thanks, I'm very glad you posted. I'm considering just putting it on one side of the car, so I'd only need one. What do you think something like this would run me, on an estimation? I'm very interested in your work, it looks great.
