When should I get HPTuners?

im going to start modding my car. Im doing the basic stuff like headers, exhaust, cold air intake, 2 heat range spark plugs, and a smaller pulley. Nothing to major. Do I even need a tuner for these mods are is there a risk of my engine going with out one. Thanks for info Johnny.

The sooner the better.. It takes lots of time to learn, and be proficient with tuning software.

Thursday will be too late...you need one yesterday. Get yourself a Delorean and a flux capacitor and go back and get one.

Go ahead and buy one. Then prepare to sit down for days of reading and reading about how this stuff works.

There is no rush, seeing how you are not even modded yet.
