Wheel well cooling vent

My 3 year old kid came inside with my drive side wheel-well vent cover off my 05 gxp and a screw driver, so apparently he wanted to help fix my car. Well he managed to pop it off, but it doesn't pop back on. There is no visible damage, so I don't think he broke anything, but it doesn't look like it would just pop on. Anyone have any tricks on this or something?

Those little fake fender pieces? Might have to glue it back in

Yeah that would be it. That's what I was thinking, but was waiting to hear it from others.

You may need to take the fender off to put it back on properly.

No you dot just take a flat head screw driver to pop the vent assembly out then glue it back together and pop back in to place. I did this already when I converted to wire mesh.
