dont ask me why, i just started wondering.... what is the fastest you have ever gone in your grand prix? i could care less if it was at a track, on the highway, or right in front of a school in the morning. im mainly curious on the GTs since thats what i have to compare to, but would like to hear about the GTPs also. i dont wanna hear 108mph either, lol

so, how fast have you gone?
 


Hitting the limiter WOT is the worst thing to do...especially with a boosted car. Easy wasy to pop a piston. Don't need to go that fast anyways.
 


125 mph but had to slow down due to traffic...dont know if it will go faster but will try again another time :)
 
I did 155 in my 2001........

I want to say I did 132ish in my 97 GT.....wouldnt go any faster....had the car fully loaded with andrenalin junkies....

temp started creapin up to 220....but stayed consistent. so I didnt let up. made it from Ottawa Illinois to Jainesville wisc in 45min..(normally a 2hr drive) even passed a cop on the highway who was heading same direction. flipped the lights on then back off.

granted not the best thing I've done... but it was fun that night.

I did 134 in my mostly stock 04 gtp. Not sure if it'd go any faster cause it started to shake and I got scared :/ I was surprised it went that fast, i'd think it'd be limited to much lower as being stock.
 
thanks for the honest input, most of you..... i had the opportunity to make a 40 mile drive on desolate nebraska highways yesterday (saturday) morning. i decided i was gonna hold it at WOT for several minutes, so i did. she topped out right at 125, with 3rd gear at about 5800rpms. even going down a little bit of a hill didnt change a thing, she just maintained 125 the whole time. the car handled like it does going 65. perfectly smooth

i dont know why anyone would want to go any faster than what the speedo reads. first of all it takes way too damn long. secondly it causes the car to have a lot of load on the motor when youre going that fast (which will cause knock unless youre tuned REALLY well). third of all it is completely and utterly unsafe.

That poor car.
 


Been a 150 mph a couple times in my GTP, rode smooth and was knock free. Had more room to go but I didn't push it any futher.
