Whats wrong with my car starter ?????????!!!

Hey i have a car remote starter from prostart . the high end one from canadiantire with the full alarm system and all. just resently when ever i go and press the start button , the lights flash twice including dash lights. and you hear the relays click inside from the remote starter. which is unsual.... and now at night i notice the blue led light dosent flash anymore..... its on steady... soo there must of been a certain mode it wen in because my starter wont work but yet it will unlock the doors and lock them. .....

BTW: i could start the car with my key but not with the remote starter.....

if anyone can help me fix this i would be soo happy!!!:th_laugh-pointup:

Seems like !!!!!!!!!! your problem !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! is more !!!!!!!!!!!! than likely !!!!!!! the alarm @@@@@@@@@ system.

Sorry .. I have a stuttering issue that makes me crazy when I see too many question marks or exclamations.. ... It's like a keyboard seizure that happens to !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! me.
 
If you can get the model number off the module or from paperwork etc, you can probably find a manual online from them. That would probably help you figure out how to enter/exit the programming and diagnostics.

Check out the alarm section on the12volt.com when you get that model number. I've seen a bunch of literature/manuals over there for various starters etc.
 
i cant post anything on the 12volt site . i even registered....... i know my start model is CT-5072 3in 1 ...... let me know if anyone can figuer out my issue
 


Sounds like it's in service mode, quickly turn the key from off to on 5 times ending in off, then the lights should blink and then give it a try.

Let me know if it fixes it :)

sounds like its in valet mode, keyless works but no start or alarm, its for when you take it in for service etc.
