Sorry if this is a repost or there is already a thread like this, a quick search didn't find one.

Just like the title says, what is the best mod or upgrade you have done to your car? Doesn't have to be an expensive one or anything like that, just the one you enjoy the most, you are the most proud of, you find the most useful\clever, etc. If you want, include the price and\or why you consider it the best.

For me, It was a toss up between the engine swap and the L.E.D. interior. The engine is nice and all, much better than my old L67, mainly because it runs and doesn't have a spun bearing, but the power and MPG increase was nice. I think I'll say my L.E.D.s are my favorite upgrade so far, they were cheap ($4 a bulb), and BRIGHT. Every single person that sees them comments on them and wants me to help them put L.E.D.s in their car. It's a useful upgrade in my book as well since they use less power, last longer, and when they are on you see EVERYTHING inside the car, without blinding yourself.

Here's a pic when I had 1 watt L.E.D.s installed, I now have 1.5 watt L.E.D.s installed so it's brighter than what this pic shows:

E85 conversion. Was able to drop down 5 pulley sizes and by far was the most hp gain per $$$ and said goodbye to all KR :th_thumb-up:
 
My trans. 3m input shaft, all hardened clutches, 7/8", 3.29s, etc etc. It made a massive difference due to the gearing change and its worked great through tons of abuse. Its the only mod I've done that didnt lead to more problems and more annoyances. Literally the only mod I can think of.

Like my CF hood I love but it was a total PITA to get working right. My LED interior lights are nice but i broke two interior light covers doing them. My headers were a pain to get to not leak, as well as the rest of my exhaust. With all the mods I have almost everyone one of em' has caused problems and annoyances from time to time. The tranny has done nothing except maybe hurt mpg a bit. When I drop to a 2.8 with e85 and heads itll probably start to become more likely to be troublesome, but for now its been great.
 
Hands down is my DHP power tuner. It has more then paid for itself over the years both by saving gas, allowing me to use l67 injectors in my DOHC which saved me money, and by making money on the side tuning other cars. I would never have got my DOHC in the 14's without it and allowed making the decision to do the DOHC >3800 swap > topswap possible. also all the knowledge i have learned and passed on to others was invaluable.
 


Turbo kit....hands down, totally changes the feel of how a w-body drives
Built trans.....same deal, totally changes driving experience.
 
KYB AGX struts and SSC springs.. Yay no more 4x4 status. Another of my favorite mods is my lit HU mount, no more headunit 2 inches out of the dash, it looks awesome.
 
I loved getting the check when I sold the first one.

I loved the envelope of cash even more when I sold the second one.
