Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

whats peoples average mpg on 3.4 setup?

has your car been tuned and tuned well? if you dont have raised timing while cruising from a tune you really wont see any gains in MPG.

i can get up to 20 if i really baby it. but its usually around 16 17 driving mostly in the city with bad traffic in the morning

Thats not accurate either sean, you have to fill all the way up to the click, run the tank out, fill up at the same pump and then do it by hand.

what year is your car... 99-03 iirc has to have a functioning o2 or it will run stupid rich.

by the way i get 29-31 on highway and 22ish city... if i dont touch my DIC for awhile it never goes below 21

Technically you don't need any of that. Digital DIC tells you how much gas you've used... mine does anyway. And I reset it every time I fill up. Based on what it says when I fill up, it's pretty damn accurate.

So technically, I reset my fuel used, and my trip meter, and then run out a few gallons. Math.

Yes it "tells" you how much you have used. But why do we figure it out by hand, because the dic is inaccurate at calculating it. So if we assume the odometer is reading correctly on the car, what is off? Think about it :th_thumbsup-wink:

Well I'm implying mine isn't off at all, but if I really wanted to double check, I assume my odometer is reading correctly and I know that what the pump reads when I fill up is what my DIC says I've used since my last fill up.

how big is our tanks anyway? lol last time i let it fill to the click i came walking out of gas station and gas was coming out the top of the tank:p which takes me back to the sending unit might not be sealed all the way or i didnt have the nozzle in good enough to let it click when full i dunno.

My DIC is accurate even with my oil life. I think the 97-99's had like a 18 or 19 gallon tank and the 00-03 had liek a 17.5 or something like that.
