• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Whats next?

i take it from your sig youre are in school for auto tech? if so thats cool! i am too! but i got to school then work 6 days a week. and if you want money, dont get another toy!!! i currently have a 98 LS1 bird that im modding and trying to have a little fun with the GP too....hahaha two toys are bad!

Yeah I am going for auto tech. I all ready have another toy lol, my old jeep wrangler that I bought before the GTP.

lame. if you really break transmissions that often then you dont know how to drive a car.

Please...that was rediculous:th_laugh-pointup:

Dave's transmission's are top notch and a upgraded transmission is the way to go in these cars. MOST are very weak and when power is thrown at them, such as a IC or Cam...the tranny starts to take a crap, like mine did. Hell a friend of mine had bolt-ons and "drove his car like it owed him money" and his broke with a 3.4" setup with supporting mods and stock rockers/cam/no IC...so...

I say...get headers, stick with buying that tuner, get a transmission from Dave, or a Full size IC...and if you don't have a TB on that list I say get the stocker ported or opt for a N* or LS1...Night and Day difference I can vouch for that ;)

i have a ton into my car and nothing into the stock 130k mile GT trans and nothing has broke yet. yeah, my clutches and torque converter are probably slipping and getting old, but no hard parts broken yet. if you dont beat the living mess out of it you wont break it that fast.

i could break mine on my way home from work today if i wanted to, just get a few nice 3-1 downshifts in there and im sure something would pop. i just want to keep it running well as is. ill throw another stock GT trans in it if this one goes out.
