• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What would you.....

expect to pay for a clean gtp w/ rod knock? It has quite a bit of money in performance parts on it, like borla exhaust, slp headers and cai and is cammed. Not really what you would want to pay but what you would if you was in the market for something like that. Thanks

Sounds like the deal I got on my 99. Paid $1000 for it-- spun bearing but had built motor with diamond pistons, cam, arp, slp's etc... had 65k on rust free body.

Thanks for your inputs. Fact is im talking about my car im trying to sell locally. I was going to part it out but ive been working alot and trying to let it go in one piece. My price is 900 firm. And where i live people dont know what firm means. This is how the conversation goes. {prospected buyer} Whats your bottom dollar? {me} Its 900 just like i said in my add. {pb} Does it run out good? {me} It has a spun rod bearing. Just like i said in the add. {pb} So the engines blown? I think its worth about 300. {me} Well I would scrap it before i let it go for that to a dumbass like you(click) Thats what i get living in rural nc. A stripped foxbody with no powertrain or interior can go for 1500. But my cay is worth only 300 obviously. Funny thing is i could take the new tires off of it and ask 500 and i wouldnt get this much crap

Put up an add on here and the other sites as well. Autotrader Cars.com and so on. Someone will buy it for $900. I would have to see more pics of the car but I would probably pay $900 for it.

Yeah i think i will if someone could pick it up themselves. Only reason i say is i just sold a older model mercedes deisel on ebay. The car was only worth 1500. And the transmission messed up and wouldnt shift into gear. I didnt think it would get much so i set the reserve at 500. A bunch of people bidded and i ended up selling it for almost a grand. Which that was good for me but the guy that came and picked it up messed up the front bumper and tore the exhaust off of it. He done this loading it up on a flatbed. I never knew it happened and he told the buyer it was like that. So it was just a big ordeal. It ended up working out but what a friggin headache

Crazy timing! It was just sold. Hated to see it go but i dont have the money to put into it right now. That was my second supercharged pontiac. The other was a bonnie. Hope get another later on. They are a good mix of performance and family ride. She will be missed (sigh)
