what type of intake??

99prixgt

club of used to own a gp
I wanna put in a cold air intake for my series2 prix gt and i was wondering if anyone would know whats better between the 4

Wizard
SLP
Thrasher
Motorsports

If you want to squeeze every HP possible out of the intake setup, go for the WizAir. It pushes heavily on insulation and does a great job. I was never as impressed with the others, and I wasn't as impressed with a "FWI" either.

The home made intake also needs some sort of hold down for the PCM, but that's about $20 at most.

thanx for the reply, im gonna order the wizard since it comes with the pcm tray, im not trying to have the pcm rip off or suttin.

Wizaired's PCM tray works just fine. The bungee holds the PCM down tight. I have the Wizaired and I have no complaints so far. It was easy to install and does what it says it does.

maybe its just me, but i definitely dont have that kind of money.

i paid 800 dollars for my grand prix. just put one of those cheap chrome intakes off ebay on it. works great so far. working on a box to put in soon.

meh, i've been working since i turned 16, and got 3 yrs of detasseling, so i have money to blow on my car :) not much else that i waste money on.

Ahh Detasseling... That was a blast. I only did it one year though.

what is that?...i used to have that kind of money...used to...before it all went to the things that are in my sig...alll in about a month...thats a shame...

detasseling is a midwest thing. basically you pull the tops off of corn stalks.
i'll be starting detasseling here in a few weeks again :)

you've never heard of it because you aren't surrounded by corn...
here in iowa, there's plenty of it.
it pays descent, last year i got paid $9.25 an hour, and when you work ~150 hours in two weeks at that rate, helps alot for a hihgschooler :) that was when minimum wage was 5.25, and i was only 16. This year i believe im going to be making 10.25ish
