i need to save this. i should do my intake gaskets when im doing the coolant flush. and those o-rings sound good too. and plugs, yep.
 
hmmm... downpipe is in the garage, just waiting. i still got suspension to do as well bro. lca's, struts and springs, got the swaybars laying in the garage for too long. so yah, gonna have a busy time with my ride.
 


That white stuff on your cap is a rare, engine growing mushroom called Koolentnoil. Sells for quite a bit in Asia. Great in salads. :th_thumbsup-wink:

Do the LIM gasket. Go to the How To section of the forums, look for the LIM Video in 33 Minutes or something like that.

Make sure you got the right tools, and all the parts. Oh, and heat. Otherwise you may freeze your butt off. I'll look for the other info and post it.
 
lower intake gasket is going or gone.I just had mine replaced on my 3100 that i sold and brought a 05 grand prix.

All you need is a 10 mm deep socket, extension and ratchet.

If you're S/C that is.

If you're N/A you'll need an 8 and 10 mil
 
alright so I did some numbers and without doing any mods just fixing the stuff you told me to it looks like it will cost around $180 leaving me with $520 cash this week so where do i go with the $520 first rockers or the 04+ manifold upgrade????
 
'04+ manifolds are the same man.

Get a 3" catless downpipe...get the HV3...and how are intake gaskets and fluids costing you $180?

The set is like $40 or so from your local auto parts store, coolant elbows are like $5 if that...new oil and filter is what...$20? And a couple bottles of 100% coolant is another $25 if that...what are you buying?
