What speakers do u recommend for grand prix 98 2D

So I have 2D grand prix with after market DVD player. My first pair of speakers were pioneer 240 watts 5.25"

Wasnt so loud so I bought Pyle 6.5" 400 (which btw I heard that it can fit but t didn't really. I figured something out. )
Even worse

How can I make my car sound clear and loud???

I have a sub in the trunk. But I can hear myself when volume is at the top.

What speakers should I buy. Post links to amazon or something. I'm tired spending money on bad speakers.

I put infinity kappa 6x9's in the rear and Boston acoustics components in the front... I would put the Boston acoustics components all around, get 6-1/2" for the rear... Those are the clearest speakers I've ever heard hands down. The sub will balance out the lower end so you're set there.

So tell me what are the best speaker with what amp. Well and not too expensive :)

Where can I place more speakers.
I have a 5.25 doors and 6x9 rear.

Amazon links will be awesome. Tnx.

Ok let's be serious... Champaign taste and beer pockets.

Good clear strong sound cost money, plain and simple. High DB S/N ratio is not cheap, setting up good sound in a noisy car is not cheap. For. Buck (100) a pair, you will have to take what you can get, but shouldnt complain when it doesn't sound good. But if you search and search you might find deals. My new head unit, boston acoustic and infinitys cost me upwards over $700 and was a great steal! I'm just saying to evaluate what's most important and prioritize, but you can't have both cheap and good sound IMO.

I get it. Well I mean i see other peeps cars and they have loud sound and pretty good.

Let's say what is a good brand how many watts I should get for not so expensive.
I mean I wouldn't pay 700 for car speakers. Not even for home speakers. But maybe 200 but I must know if they can be loud and clear.
At least to match my house speakErs

You could possibly find a good used set on craigslist or eBay... pretty much you need to look for good brands Ex... kicker Rockford fosgate mtx jl audio Memphis Kenwood focal... the list goes for days but like ^^^^ said you pay for what you get an sound isn't cheap lol where do you live?

For the price your willing to spend your not going to find anything new that will sound the way you want it to sound.

Thank u. I think I'm gonna buy em. What did u do to fit the 6.5 in the doors?
Depends on the speakers. Some will fit once you remove the 5.25 mounting plate. If they don't fit, you can hack up the stock 5.25 mounting plate or you can make your own plates out of abs plastic or MDF.

OP, for the most part you are not going to hear a difference even if you spend $1000 on the door speakers if you are still amping them with a headunit.

a decent set of speakers (that will do what you are asking) are going to have an RMS of 75w or higher. A stock headunit probably puts out 10w RMS and even a $400 aftermarket is only going to give to a MAX of 22w RMS.

Also how loud is your sub when volume is at your normal listening level. Depending on how loud your sub is there is NO REASON to change rear speakers because the sub is pulling all bass away from them anyway and the little bit of mid and high sound that is left is thus drowned out by the excessive bass of the sub.

If you want your front sound (or stage as it is called in car audio) to be plenty loud and clear buy a decent set of 5.25 or 6.25 components then buy a used 2 channel amp from CL or Ebay (just dont get the crap brands)

these bad boys are B-Stock and generally more expensive (B-Stock means there is some sort of cosmetic issue which doesnt matter in your case since you shouldnt be able to see them anyway) Shop CDT Audio - CL-60

if you bump your budget to $250 getting the above component set will leave enough to get at least a "decent" quality amp

WoofersEtc.com - PMA6002F - Alphasonik 2-Channel 500W RMS Class AB MOSFET Amplifier

alphasonic makes decent amps and this being a 500w Class A/B amp should really get the job done for the CDTs i linked above.

$700 for the head unit, Boston acoustic components for the front and infinity kappas for the rear... Pretty good not for nothing. Maybe a little more per set than you're looking to spend but happiness is in the sound! Lolz...
