What size tires/rims if i want to upgrade from 16 -> 18.

I want to get a set of 18" rims, and i have no idea how to convert the tire size, local garages are of no help, they tell me i can only go 17". i currently have 16's. could anyone help?

My friend had 245/45/r18s on his wheels with no problems. he wasnt lowered though. Others will be of more help to you in this category than i but i know u can run those just fine.

245/45/18 is pretty much the same diameter, so your speedo wont be off.

245/45/18 is the most common that you will see. i would have been different and ran wider tires, but thats just me.
