What should i do?

I have a 2001 Grand Prix GT that I love to death, But a deal has come up. I could get a 2007 Roush Mustang which is orange. With my car traded in I could get that for $9,000! WHAT SHOULD I DO? I don't want to say im getting this off of impulse but the deal wont last forever. Who thinks i should trade up? I have put a decent amount of money into my Grand Prix but havent spent the money on a top swap or cam or that much performance wise. But I got k&n CAI, reprogram pcm, Halo Projectors with HID, a set of Mustang Rims 18'' polished bullits (which is kind of ironic), And I have just started making this car into what i pictured. But straight up more power and more aggressive look, even though its a ford its beautiful. This is such a hard decision!

Mustangs are gay. Most have been beat to ****. You already know that your GP is reliable, and you said you love it, so I would say keep it.

It all honestly depends on what you enjoy driving what car calls your name.. its not about speed as it is to some ppl. More or less its what do you want to do other ppls input shouldnt matter as you are the one that has to drive the car every day and make the payments

Think about insurance too, the Mustake would be quite a bit more than the GP. And you probably don't have car payments now, Car payments suck!

Yes I know I love my car. I think i would definatly have fun with the stang tho. 6 speed manual and rear wheel drive. My dream car is a new Challenger, and this is a step up to that.

I do hav car payments and they do suck, but the payment will be about the same for me if i get this, we checked on that already. Ill just have to pay it a little longer. And ya insurance will be a bit more:th_nervous:

How well do you think that 6 speed manual is going to get around in the snow? I have a FWD manual, and I know that hill on 144th and industrial by oakview that I go through on my way to work everyday is gonna be a ***** this winter.

Practicality > Style.

And how much would it suck to lose to my GP in that Mustang? ***FUTURE CALLOUT IF PURCHASED****

well lebron, do you want a car payment and have a stock fast car or make your car fast with said saved money...hmmm decisions

I know practicality is better than style. But we are talking about a roush here. Im not saying i could beat any of you in a race but knowing and feeling that you hav that raw power when you stomp on it feels gosh d*** good. And there are was to help this drive in the winter like sand bagging it and what not. I know it wont be like my FWD grand prix. My dad has a 91 corvette and i would drive that as a daily driver if i could. It might be rough and you might beable to feel every bump in the road but its awesome. And as for the payments i still have like 4500 left to pay off on this car. So I couldnt use the money that ill be saving for a long time any way.

Might as well get the stang..it's not like you can't purchase another Grand Pix for dirty cheap down the road..plus v8 rwd 6 spd....and this is coming from a guy that hates mustangs.

My thoughts exactly. v8 + 6 speed + rwd = fun driving. Im not the biggest fan of mustangs but i can appreciate a fine body no matter the make or model. Go big or go home right? And im transfering schools, so New Car to go with the New school and friends. You only live once like boosting said.

most of the time rwd doesnt mean a fun drive unless you are a good driver. most people out there cant control a car in a slide at all.

Yes I know it's not a god given talent. I have been taught well by my dad (cop) and I have done it before in our vette. Not saying I'm gonna drift everywhere cause that is just plain dumb

you'd be much cooler if you did.

Someone Much Cooler?

*sigh*

Anywho...

Roush's do not impress me, regardless of year.

My insurance also only went up a little less than a hundred bucks going from my '03 GTP to a '03 Z06...it's hit and miss.

ok a new twist is involved now. the daughter of the guy with the car might want this 07 orange roush. and if she takes that then I could buy her car for 7,000. She has a 07 blue cobra which is also a convertible. The convertible sounds nice but i actually like the "hey look at me" orange that the roush is. I guess i will see if she keeps hers or takes the roush
