Hey, im in a little bit of a pickle... just this friday i was in a car accident where i ran into the back of another vehicle. The airbags went off shot into the windsheild and broke that, and the front end is a little smashed up but not to bad. Everything else in the car is just fine, no problems with the motor or drive or anything else. Im 17 and on my parents insurance unfortinaly we only had liability on it so my car isnt covered at all. It would be to much to try and repair it because of the airbag situation...... so im not sure what to do with the car, any ideas? I was thinking about parting it out but im not sure how to go about doing that..

you could try and part it out. Do you have the 3.1 or the 3.8? if you have the 3.1 don't bother parting anything out thats under the hood. You would make more $$ parting out the car but you could always try and sell it as a whole. Imo its not worth fixing, you will spend more money and time doing that then just getting a gtp instead.

I don't know much about pontiacs, it was my grandmas old car and she gave it to me as my first car... i liked it alot. They are damn tough haha. But how are GTP's? I guess you wouldn't recomend them if you didn't like them and seein how this is a grand prix forum im pretty sure thats the car anyone is going to recomend ha but really are they good cars and what all can you do to them??

Check out EdMorad for cheaper parts. The window and airbags can be bought from him and you can replace them. Also check on a newer front bumper for the car, Ed should have every part you need. Get rid of that catfish bumper. Any frame damage has to be done by shop. Then save up for paint.

Take some pics and post so we can see the extent of the damage.
