Merely because they have torque settings.

But still, they never thread them very well and hence the issue.

do you take your own hamburger and buns when you go to mcD? lots expense running a business, if everybody came with there own parts( which are usually wrong ones) you wouldnt be in business very long. been there with elec shop and auto repair shop with 4 employees. sorry just ranting. have a nice day.

shops get shop price at local parts store and charge for their cost on the part + the labour.

Labour rate includes overhead.

the oil change place that my wife uses since she cant seem to leave the car sitting long enough for me to change it puts new drain plugs in if the plug is starting to round at no extra charge.i used to work there and i would put a new one in every car just about
