what pulley size to go with next mod?

So hopefully I'll finally order a VS cam during the black friday sale at ZZP and I was thinking of ordering a smaller pulley to go with it. I know it also depends on the tune, but I wanted to ask which size would be my best bet? I was thinking maybe 3.25 or 3.2 pulley and then get a custom tune.

I'm keeping the stock heads, springs and rockers, maybe we'll port the SC while we are at it.

Thanks,

3.25" or a 3.20" isn't going to make that much of a difference really. I'd get the 3.25" though...just to be on the safe side. Porting the S/C is a good help...finding some higher octane gas would be awesome too if you can. 93 or so. That's what I run, but I don't know what you've guys got in Mexico.

Thanks guys. We don't have anything over 92 octane here. Would I also need to change to AL103s with the 3.25 pulley?

Thanks Matt, I'll try the TR6's. should I gap them at .055 or .050?

I'm doing 15.40 at the 1/4 mile with my current setup at this altitude. I hope the cam and pulley will put me in the 14's what do you think?

No idea on the times.

If your car doesnt like the TR6's like that other guys car, try the autolite 103's instead.

I'd try 0.055 or 0.050 at first then keep opening the gap till it starts to miss then close it a little.
