What pulley next?

This summer I plan on getting a gen v, stg 2 IC, and 42.5 injectors. I was originally planning on a 3.0 pulley if I stayed with my gen 3, but since I'm going gen v I heard going with like a 3.25 would be about the same as a 3.0 on a gen 3 since the blower is more efficient. Right now I have your typical 3.4 set up. Should my motor okay with a these new mods as long as the tune is favorable? Would a 3.25 on a gen v be ideal?
