I have a 99 gp gt I got a few months back with 93xxx I'm wondering what kind of items I should look into replacing that are parts that commonly fail with the grand Prix with it being older and such. So far I have replaced fuel pump, water pump, thermostat, coolant elbows, tensioner pulley and serp belt. I am going to lower it as well and my though was to replace motor and trans mounts when I install spacers but I don't know if they commonly fail as of right now they visually look OK.

Front sway bar, end links, control arms (they come with new bushings and ball joints), LIM gaskets, plugs (use iridium plugs, NO platinums), wires, PCV, air filter, fuel filter, flush the cooling system and install your flavor of coolant (dex not needed if flushed properly), headlight housings, all cooling hoses, clean the MAF, remove throttle body and clean it inside and out.

Might as well replace the motor and trans mounts while you're at it while lowering. Even if they don't look bad time/mileage can catch up. And of course when you lower you will have all new strut mounts so that's a given.
