What Oil does everyone else use?



i was stuck on royal purple forever... then i went to whatever synthetic was on sale with a mobil 1 filter.
 
Napa 10w-30 Spring, Summer, Fall. 5w-30 in Winter. Both are conv oil changed at 2000 miles with a Napa Gold 1040 filter.


I have a lot of short trips (less than 10 miles).

your right...Its been a while since I really thought about my oil info....I'll keep it at 0w...either one would work though LOL
 


Right now, I have Mobil 1 conventional 10W-30 with a Mobil 1 filter for a LQ1 (the longer filter, "PF52 size").

Soon to be 5W-30 (don't know what yet, no synth for me) with a WIX filter (still sized for LQ1).
 
Turns out the only TRUE synthetics available around here are mobil 1 and castrol edge.

Everything else doesnt have a synthetic base and thus couldn't be called a synthetic in a more strict market such as europe....
 
5w-30 Mobil 1 extended performance(mainly cause it has more detergents) and the bigger Napa filter. Call me odd but I change it when it starts getting dirty... I sometimes take only very short trips for a while then take many longer trips other times so no mileage interval works well for me.
