what next?

I'm thinking turbo is what it's going to be but what do I need to do to get my car turbo ready?

If I rebuild this thing and throw in some better stuff how much more power am I going to make?

and what do you think I would get out of some head work?
 


what about new pistons and all that jazz, and can't I take heads to a machine shop and have them rebuild and port them for like half the cost of zzp?
 
leave the pistons.

make sure its a GOOD machine shop.

But they seem to have long lead times. (I.e. they're busy)
 
Rough intake runners for optimal air atomization...super polished and smooth exhaust ports for best flow...L32 valves are good if you can find them lying around somewhere as they are a smidge larger than L36 valves IIRC.

I had my heads ported and polished for a damn good price. If you aren't getting anything done close to you...let me know. You pay shipping and such and a tank of gas...so $50? if your interested. PM and let me know.

Pistons though, I'd leave stock. I'd also run ARP head studs...and ARP mains...and ARP Rod Bolts...if its gonna be torn apart I'd spare no expences putting it back together right the first time; take it from me.
 


I think I'm just going to do the ssm90 kit I mean with that I could go right into high 13s and then ic it and be low 13s
