Just curious. I mainly use RP HPS 10w30. When I need to do a quick change I use Mobil 1.

Heard Rotella T6 is good for turbo applications.

Saw couple of vids that Mobil 1 and RP work very well for turbo applications.

For turbo cars yeah Rotella is used a lot. I think I actually ran it in my TSI back when I had it.
 
Seeing how this is the turbo section and I don't own a grand prix anymore but I will chime in anyway.


On the truck board that I am on, many guys over there are turbo'd and I'd say most run heavier grade oil than 5W30. Rotella T6 is a great option because it's a 5W40 synthetic. Some have said mobil 1 gets "used" up faster and can't take the high heat aswell. Though alot of these guys are pushing 500-700 whp on a daily driver truck.

its OTR truck oil so the additive package should be more robust, not to mention actually having zinc that gas engine oils lack due to it killing cat's

its also cheap

i use the non syth rotella in my daily's... **** the cat, save the engine
 


Ive heard of people using rotella in the 3V 5.4s to keep them quiet I basically I should use this in my navi and everything else?

Mobile 1 synth here.. But usually after every two to three race events it gets changed out, so its no in there long anyways.
 


Been running Rotella T6 for the last 20 miles now. Blackstone says I can run it for 10k if I wanted to. I'm just an NA slowkar though. I like it cause it's cheap, and the slighter thickness makes my motor not burn any oil.
