• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What Mods void warranty?

they have to prove the aftermarket part caused the problem, that is what the law says, some dealers will argue it, but if you get the area supervisor involved it gets fixed fast (that number is in the back of all gm owners manuals by the way)

Exactly. However, the last part of my previous post states that if you do have an aftermarket part that causes a direct failure (IE, your transmission breaks and you have a 3.4 pulley and supporting mods) and you swap it back, that is considered fraud.

Only if you get caught. And who seriously is going to see your car at the dealer and say "I've seen that he takes that car to the track, he's got etc etc on it and that's why it broke!"

In all seriousness, the dealers still get paid warranty time, they don't care. And I have never seen a GM District rep come in because we saw something THAT fishy.

Hell, there's guys that have nitrous explosions and they STILL get their stuff warrantied by dealers. And in the same token, I've seen the exact same result from a stock truck overfueling and actually hydro-locking the motor.
