i bought an 01 gtp recently for a real good price. The car runs fantastic and haven't had any problems out of it in 5k miles that I've had it. It seems as if it was somebody's project at one time as I can see it has headers, bad a$$ exhaust, injectors, pcm, fuel rail, just an open come filter ATM soon to be fixed as it also has ram air hood. interior looks to be redone, underglows. the part that puzzles me is the 1/2 in diameter nonpressure hose coming from behind radiator that goes to nothing also the other two black 1/2"-3/4" pressure hoses that come from behind aren't connected at all with a nipple looking fitting. Any ideas? Have owned a couple gps but not one like this and been trying to figure out what is missing in it. When I flip a switch installed on dash coolant will spray out one of the black hoses. Some sort of intercooler ? Don't have a clue.

But I agree with Cory, PO took out the innercooler and left everything else in, check behind the front bumper to see if there is a front mount heat exchanger installed. If so you just need the actual innercooler and you could probably drop pulleys.

Thanks a lot guys my suspicion is confirmed. Yeah I'm kinda surprised it doesn't have a a 3" pulley on it. Pretty sure it still has the stock pulley. I should be okay going to a 3.4 as is right? With all the exhaust mods.

You need something to scan with before you do any pulley dropping.. Or knock knock kaboom

Yeah gonna buy a scanner soon. And hopefully get a good tune as well. Hoping my kr is good and won't have a problem. Last thing I need is a ticking time bomb under my hood.
