• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What is your biggest annoyance

how bout the new ad for the new trucks... 310 hp for toyota BUT WAIT gmc has 315 hp... omg gmc has owned them with all of 5 damn horse power... i think the car companies need to start advertising whp instead of chp... honestly if its a truck or sports car they should do this...

I hate when people don't put shopping carts back, then you can't pull through a spot, or you park with a car in front of you come back see someone next to you left a cart behind you and the person in front of you left their cart in their spot....STOP BEING LAZY PUT THE DAMN CART BACK!!!!!

this is why i park uphill from the shopping carts.

Its probably the same deal with car audio when they advertise 1200 watt mono channel amp, then you read the back and its 1200 watt peak 400 RMS.

We have flat parking lots around here I guess haha.

People who think it's perfectly ok to de-badge and take the decals etc. off of the 98 and 2000 GP Daytona's. Do they have a thought process?...

hey if my decals and **** were still on id rock em but theyre gone because bozo before me took em off. and now i aint spendin a thousand dollars on em so...

because badges break up the lines of the car. no badges on any cars, no matter what it is.

Ouch! I just bought a 98 (#777) and it's thankfully intact and stock. But i think i can empathise. Do all those decals really cost that much?

No, the value and uniqueness of those cars is the way they come from the factory. Don't buy one if you don't plan on keeping it stock. Like I said on a previous post you can do it to a Regular GP because there so ubiquitous....

from what i understand u can only get em at the dealer. it also sux that i dont have the plaque that has all the daytona info... i dont even know what number daytona it is. i do know it is in fact a daytona cuz he had pics of when he bought it new and it was all spiffy so. i suppose ill redo it one day but...

these might be valuable but ill tell you in 30 years u might get 15k for it. no way this will net you 50k like other rare cars. still a rare car tho.

they arent worth any more than any other grand prix unless you think it is. unfortunately you probably paid more than you should have for some badges and decals. weak sauce. the interior on some of them is the only thing worth paying for.

The 98's have an individually numbered plaque but the 2000's didn't. The 2000's plaque says something like ths is one of 2000. I beleive there's a sticker somewhere on the car that has the car # if i'm not mistaken..

Try telling that to BIO. He seems to feel it's ok to debase these cars. Some people just don't get it...

I think you're absolutely right about the pricing. Daytona, I remember you from a month ago when you helped me with a question I had on a 2000 Daytona that was for sale on eBay, the one with the wrong spoiler. Thanks again and with your's and some other posters help I passed on it. They sold it the other day on eBay for $5500.00!

thats not bad but not good... i paid 5k straight for mine with mostly new parts so...

and yur welcome

No problem. Have you tried going to a vinyl sign shop to get decals custom made? More than likely that's what GM doe's when you order through them. You can get the rear Daytona 500 stickers from Matt at RC..

no im in the middle of a design involving a pirate skull and cross swords with the monster logo in orange... comin out pretty good
