• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What is this?

Whats been done since i bought it:
Dealer took to mechanic and replaced some gaskets, not sure which ones but I will find out. Had an oil leak
Oil change
Trans service: told them to do a pan drop and fluid/filter change and they ended up flushing it. ( i was pissed)
Shortly after driving it got a temp issue code and turned out to be a stuck open thermostat, (changed myself)
Thats about it lol

im kinda low on cash and the AC Delco wires are $44 from autozone and the Duralast is only $24. Will the Duralast be ok?
As far as the coil packs go they are $34 each
Thats about $200
out of my price range

ok thx guys i'll start with plugs and wires
Last question for now is if this fixes the problem will it automatically take off the CEL or do I need to reset it with my code reader?

once you find and fix a vac leak, and do a tune up, you can take the battery off for 30 minutes or so, this will clear the pcm.

or just keep driving it, it should turn off on its own if the problems are fixed with in a day or so. depends on how much driving you do.

]I took my car to a mechanic today and he told me that the vacuum leak on the booster bypass valve could be causing the engine lean code and the random misfire code is that possible?

Maybe if the vacuum leak was huge and the car barely could stay running.

Just stick with a plan here and replace plugs, wires and the boost bypass valve.
