brake booster connects to sc on top the plastic tree thingie

If your topswapped then you will have a sc instead of a uim

It runs to the hvac to control the vent position inside the car.

On a GTP is on the passenger side, next to the coolant bottle on the strut tower. Somewhere down there on the firewall.

It should be line that will run over and clipped onto your passenger side strut tower

Hold up here... see the part of the fitting you are holding in your fingers. What did you do with the vacuum line that hooked up right there. If it's capped, then cap the line on the SC. Depends on the year, as to when they capped it and did electronic actuators instead of vacuum
