it sound like he didn't bleed the system properly. don't add anymore to the overflow tank like said above. leave the cap off of the radiator and let run for a while keeping an eye on the level in the radiator. If you have a pair of pliers in your car open the bleeder screw until it does not surge out air.

The line is getting close to the red, and when I started filling it started over flowing and starting coming out

Hopefully its not the person that screwed it up in the first place. I never had to remove a radiator to get the line out nor have I heard of anyone else until this hack the guy found!!! Probably some GS out of tech school.
