I have a vacum leak somewere cuz I can hear it hissing when the engine is running. Tried the unlit propane torch idea to no avail. I think it may be leaking on one specific line but just wish I had a diagram for an 08. Its located just behind the intake, just after rubber boot. It has a two wire going to it with a hose below that. Its square and is part of the plenum. I can move that black hose in and out a good 1/2". Thanks for the input

That sounds like you just described part the egr system and a part that's dealer/ junk yard only. My little brother just had got one from dealer $141 later it's fixed.
 
that's back side of the motor and normal would have a piece of black plastic sticking out right where my finger is pointing.
 


Yes thats it. Thank goodness u posted that. I hv an android phone n cant figure out how to send a pic ggrr. So this part is part of the egr system? I never noticed it before. Can this be cleaned and looks like it has a compression fitting and wondering if its under a vacuum. Thanks again
