What is the "accessory" in this diagram?

It's for my 97 Pontiac L67, what is this line supposed to go to? And my vac line coming out of the evap switcg is just a L rubber coupling sucking air out of the engine bay... Could my EVAP be plugged or just left open and I occasionally (for now) make a
"P0441 EVAP emission
Control system purge
Flow fault"
Code? My car runs fine now that I took care of my LIM and S/C gaskets and injectors...but I'm still getting this code occasionally and I know it is probably that open line but is it becuz my EVAP can is deleted?
Thanks for any Replies

That line on my 97 goes around the firewall and goes under wiper fluid tank I dont know for what though. I also used to get code and what fixed it was replacing the purge valve. I suggest checking the vacuum lines for any leaks, purge valve, evap switch and the two houses that run off the canister cuz those tend to fall apart

I'm pretty sure the accessory one is hooked up then, but the one coming out of my EVAP switch going to EVAP can is not. My car runs fine, does this mean my EVAP system is bypassed or "blocked off" ?

LOL at iRide that's a good one.

The accessory is for the vacuum control of HVAC functions. Aka it runs over to the passenger fender, across the front bumper and into a vacuum canister (for storage when in boost/low vacuum etc).

The rubber elbow you see is correct. That's the third nipple for the vent located on the switch. If you follow your lines like they are outlined in the diagram and look at the purge valve, you'll see one side is labeled "CAN" for the charcoal canister. That side goes to the purge switch and continues on to the canister.

Ok sorry to be anal or annoying but I edited a 98-03 vac line diagram to show you how mine is. Wondering if I have a 98 LIM or something... And I forgot to put the brake booster line Back on the 3 way grommet on top of the supercharger where the lines for the accessory and supercharger bypass actuator come out...
Thanks for the help.

If yours looks like that, then likely your charger was swapped out for a 98+. Otherwise you'd have a vacuum tree next to the boost control stuff and it would beed the boost control plus the FPR. In your diagram your lines are those of a 98 with the 97 purge switch and valve instead of just the valve. Totally normal.

Sweet thanks for the help. Now to get rid of this stupid p1655 code. I know it has something to do with the EVAP system. Going to junkyard to swap for different solenoid and switch. See if that does it.

Thank you so much! That is exactly what I needed. Possibly won't be replacing anything and just need to make sure all connections are good.
