IrishNation24

Ridin' the Blue
ok, ive read every damn hid post on here, been looking online for a month, i cant make up my mind, so anyone who has hids in there car, from 6000-10000k, can you pleeeeeeeeaaaaaassssseeeeee show me some pics, day and night if possible, night is more important, and tell me where you got them!!! thank you, and if you dont have hids or know where to get any good ones don't post please cuz i dont wanna have a million repetitive posts. thanks GPerS!!!!!!!!!!!

dont go anything over 6000K if you like to see at night. 6000K is more of an ice blue. i have them on my car. the only shot i have with them on is this one:

the higher the kelvin rating, the less usable light youll have.

true there will be less light, but i like the blue. 10000k might be too blue though, the thing is, i have so little usable light now with these crappy headlights, using 8000k would still be so much better. right now i have more usable light comin from my fogs then my headlights. so where did u get your HIDS from, and did they come with a harness? or do ya even need a harness.

and are those G8 wheels? they look sweet. ive been lookin for some similar to that to put on at the end of the year.

I sell HID kit's just to let you know.

What are you going for? Look or more light output? Or a little of both? If your looking for a little of both then I would go with the 6000K If your looking for more of a blue look then go with the 8000K

With the 6000K people are going to CLEARLY be able to tell that you have HID's. With the 8000K people are going to think you have blue headlights.

When HID's first came out most new cars had between the 4000K and the 6000K HID's in them.

what kind of kits, does it have the extra harness to keep the wires from burning up, and they aren't the telescoping or the extra halogen for high beam, cuz both of those suck. dont really need the bi-xenon tilting either. so how much of a blue tint is in the 6000k.

The HID kit's are plug and play and are single bulb (I agree). Let me confirm about the harness. The 6000K is a distintive blue.

The best way to describe them that I know of is like this.

The 6000K's are blue

The 8000K's are deep or dark blue.

If it were me i'd go with the 6000K's

ok, well let me know about the harness. and the price. found some on ebay for 55, harness is included, but it is ebay, i dont like ebay for car stuff.

those 10000ks look good. so do the 8ks. in any case, the 6000 doesnt have enough blue.

nd are those G8 wheels? they look sweet. ive been lookin for some similar to that to put on at the end of the year.

when you see them in person they do. those pictures are only an example of ONE SET of bulbs.

every manufacturers bulbs are going to be a little different. trust us when we say what the colors look like. we have them.

they are also not G8 wheels. they are 19" mille miglia EV-S. they are discontinued so youll never be able to find them and i sold my set already.

my brain is going to explode. does anyone have a link to get some that have ALL of the stuff, bulbs, ballast, A GOOD HARNESS, ballast holders, and hardware + at least a 1 year warranty?? i swear i have looked at 1000 different ones today

You should get a kit that has the "digital" style ballasts. It will make mounting the ballasts so much easier. If you want HID high and low beam then you need Bi-xenon or HB5 style. Otherwise you would have HID low beam and Halogen high beam.

^those are digital ballasts shown. I like them.

If you want everything then thats what your kit should look like. You might have to purchase a wiring harness to run power to the ballasts without using factory wiring. I used my factory wiring and I had issues.

I'll shoot you something over either today or tomorrow. Sounds like I can meet all of your needs. The reason I did not know about the harness is because I just started selling this product. So i'm not to firmiliar with it yet.

Mine are 6k for both the headlights and the fog lights. I even have high beams too which change the output direction (there not halogen). I got mine from WBS sometime ago.

I also have upgraded foglight capsules which are Pilots with H3s....
