Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

what hd trans will work in 02 gtp?

Re: ???

I dont normally do this, but I would appreciate it if you would re-title your post to something meaningful rather than just ???

"You make a warranty claim due to shifting issues and we find out that you have a bad TPS sensor: You will be responsible for any and all costs related to us inspecting, repairing or working on the car." i found this on ZZP's transmission warranty page...my car threw a TPS code yesterday,MY car basically does not wanna shift.Could this possibly be my whole problem with shift issues?

Did you fix your problem or are you still looking for what trans will work? These transmissions are 100% electronically controlled and everything MUST be properly diagnosed before assuming the trans at fault, that is why ZZP has that info posted.

well im gonna get the TPS as soon as i can find a ride to the parts store...this problem all started the day before the TPS code showed up.Fluid is definitely burnt, would it be ok to replace TPS and drive with the fluid thats in trans for a short distance to see if it fixes problem. If its not the culprit im gonna need to know which HD's will work.I cannot afford a rebuild right now.

Boooya!!! Im awesome and dont even know how, LOL. Which thread may that be?

To answer you question, if it is indeed the TPS that is causing your issue, you'll know within the first couple of shifts, so you should be fine, but obviously get that fluid changed. As for the HD trans compatability, Trannyman is going to be the expert to answer that.

I forget which thread but i did a search for "Throttle position sensor" and found it....by the way i got the TPS ......voila problem solved....shifts fine now :D as far as changing fluid...i just had a new filter put it in when i had EPC replaced...should i do it again since the fluid is so burnt?

I would. If your fluid still looks burnt, I would change it, though if you change out the filter, that means you should have changed out all the fluid in the pan which should have made a dent in that. But if not, Id drop the pan, drain that fluid then bolt it back up and add some fresh fluid again and see if that helps.

well i got the zzp trans pan w/drain plug...my thoughts were just change fluid, then change it again in a week or two. Then do the filter.

At times i wanna sell my GTP.....so now the problem is at the cruising speed of 1500RPM's....car wants to bog down really bad. When in top gear the rpm's go from 1500 to 1000-1200-1500 then it downshifts, upshifts, downshifts etc etc.It will continue doing so until i get the rpms above 1500.Then it rides fine.Any ideas what the deal is now? I doubt its related but my boost indicator on the DIC went out too.But hell if a TPS can cause shift problems, the boost indicator prolly does too j/k...lol
