WHAT exactly is causing this sound? (video)

I have a loud gurgling/bubbling sound coming from inside the dash. I hear it in the cabin, every single time I accelerate.

Hear it here: YouTube - VID%2000003-20100403-1227.3GP

It was doing this before, but I've recently had my coolant system flushed, a new radiator put in and new upper and lower radiator hoses.

My heat and A/C work fine. However, I hear this loud sound every time I accelerate. What is my next course of action to figure out the problem?

Thanks!

restricted heater core, or air in the cooling system, add coolant tryin get the air out:th_thumbsup-wink:

Cooling system has air in it and somehow its trapt in the heatercore
You said it was flushed was that with a pressurized machine? could just need to have more coolant flushed thru it or there cooud be a leak in the system letting air in

Okay, so I'm not sure if it was machine flushed - but I assume it was since it was done in a shop.

After the car had been sitting, I took off the radiator cap. The coolant level looked pretty full, but I could see a little room at the top near the neck. So, I started the car with it off. It sucked the level down a lot further and then I put the cap back on. I have to buy some more coolant, but I guess the fact that the level went down so much means there was air stuck? Did I pressurize the system or something? I will try filling it back up and then letting it run and warm itself up with the cap off and then I'll turn on the heat and see if the level goes down any further. Can anyone show me a picture of exactly where the bleeder valve is? And at what time do I loosen it? After I've filled it back up and put the radiator cap back on?

I noticed just from running it with the cap off for a couple of minutes, the sound was significantly reduced. I hope that once I put more coolant in and bleed more air out, it'll be gone completely.

Thanks!

yes there is air, just let the car cool and start it with radiator cap off and rev it up hold the rpm high and steady and start filling the coolant up then u will solve your problem make sure you add coolant to your overflow bottle to so this dont happen again:th_thumbsup-wink:

and didnt you say you were getin your intake gaskets replaced awhile ago? did you ?? because you shouldnt be losing coolant at all
