i have a 2000 gt coupe, and yesterday while i was driving the low oil light came on. doesnt suprise me after the 10k that has gone into it already, but nonetheless, what does it mean? i know its low on oil i checked it. but it does not leak and it does not smoke. so where is it going? and is it possible for this to cause it to have poor gas mileage? i alread put a call into the shop to go and drop it off for like the thousanth time, but i want to know if this is something that the warranty will cover? i did do a little research and some some potential causes, one being the oil pump? any response will help. and thank you in advance.:confused:
 


if its full and the oil low light still comes on, its possible its the low oil light sensor in the oil pan. I think they're a couple of $$.
