what do you think of this hood?

found a local seller selling his black sd hood. he said it has rock chips in the paint as well as pointed out someone keyed the front area of the hood. from my perspective it looks like a stress fracture, but what do u guys think? also he's looking for 550 or obo(excludes shipping) for it.

also if it is a keyed scratch can i use something to smooth or use meguiar's scratch paint fix or something?

i gave him an offer and we settled for 400, sound decent for the condition of the hood? if so, im able to pick it up and save on shipping.

i like the ASCD hood or whatever its called, i do know that in heavy rain water will seep into the engine bay. a couple of guys in my local GP club have that hood on their cars.
im sure the damage is nothing a professional body shop couldnt handle for a small fee

thats what im thinking since the line is circular and almost symetrical to the inner points where the insert/ram air ends. does it look like a pontential breakage?

here are more pics of the underside, he said and even in the pics i dont see any signs of the scratch or crack coming through. thoughts? opinions?
