I'm thinking of buying these rims 18" BLACK WHEELS RIMS PONTIAC G5 G6 G8 GRAND PRIX GTO MONTANA AZTEC TORRENT | eBay

Also, ive heard that 18's are a good size for not being too heavy and having descent drivability. but what r ur thoughts on 19's or 20's?
 


Saw something very close if not that exact rim on an f430 tonight. They look great. 19's would look much nicer then 18's and I think that rim in a 20 inch would look baller too.

I'd do the red lip if you have a black, white or red GP.

18x8 +40 will work nicely also.
 
yeah, 19's or 20's is what i originally wanted but so many people have since advised me to not go higher then 18
 
oh and my second idea was to put chrome wheels and clear headlights (my car is black) kinda like this one Google Images

cant decide what would be better, all black theme or chrome wheels and clear lights
 
Your first choice is what I'd go with. With black corners.

Nothing wrong with 19's or 20's. You can run them, but expect a rougher ride and more wear on your transmission. Also the bigger the rims, the more they weigh, so rotational mass will increase resulting a feeling of loss of power.
 
yeah i dont wanna get any slower haha, thats why i thought i would stay with the 18's. what tires are good that arent too expensive? i would probably need all seasons
 


I'm not that great with tire brands.. I couldn't recommend anything. Just don't cheap out.

Make sure you opt for 245-45-18's if you go with 18 inch rims.
 
Black and chrome is sexy to me, I dont like chrome wheels just because of the weight factor, but if you could find a polished aluminum....Id go with that.
 


that wheel is becoming increasingly popular with the GP guys, and for good reason. they look really really nice.
