im in the process of doing head gaskets and figured since im doing them might as well have the blower ported and runn a phenolic ssic and do some 1.95 rr.
1. i know i have to upgrade springs but to what?
2. are the head bolts reusable?
3. will a 3 angle valve job give me power($300). or port the heads?
4. im doing headers to can i have a 3.4 pulley i hope i can drop to 3.25 or smaller
5. should i go green instead of dex cool, how do i keep from blowing another head gasket?



and yeah i know a cam would do better but im broke and im pissed because i this is my second black gtp(had a daytona) and i just got the engine put in and now this..... smh always some bs lol. why couldnt this happen to silvermist chick lol(i think i need to get my own sign on because im confusing some)

to the op, i personally run dex, i am cammed with a 3.3, no ic... and i run like a raped ape. Head bolts ...idk... my rocker bolts were reusable. However, I say go cam ...skip the rockers or ic... and have fun!
 
no i ve been using gf username for a minute and figured i'll create my own(i am the op). and i might be drunk tomoorow since its my b day lol.

and i dont fell like dropping subframe for a cam right now, i figured since im taking heads off why not mod them while thier off? but i bet a cam is better but maybe when i get some real money

Get a cam with more money? Ported heads without a big cam isn't worthless...but your not taking full advantage of the situation...hog them out and get a big cam and make big power.
 


l76 valve springs.

if your sending the heads to coupe its worth the 300$ see if they cant blend the bowls also. porting is fairly easy and you can do it yourself but do some homework on it before you fubar the flow all up. larger does not necessarily mean better.

get new head bolts.
 


i can do minor tweaks. havent really had the time to get deep into it. i need to get back into tho, my car needs some adjustments.
