$30K is a lot of money to put down on a (close to) 4 year old car - with no warranty at all. For that kind of money - sorry...but I'd by an '03 Cobra...and I have a GTO, currently. I found a car on our local Craigslist that is very appealing, but I couldn't buy it right now. Rare color - beautiful car and could be made into a TT car or Maggie for below what the BOM GTO would cost you.

2 other things -

1) Those wheels on that car - ick. Really? BOM painted lugs? Really?? Bleh.

2) If you drove a TT car in snow - you deserve the wreck that you'd undoubtedly wind up in. ;)

Did some research on that turbo setup and the turbos are mounted under the car which is a sweet setup for summer but with Midwest winters it is a no go with snow
 
I would never buy a repo car. If they arent paying for it do you really think they cared about how they took care of it when they owned it.
 


love the color, rims are hideous, the guys on crack if he thinks hes gonna get 30k for a repo even with the mods, offer 22ish and buy that thing
 
stage 1 retail 16K???? I dont think so. pick up a 05/06 GTO for around 13-18K and put a APS twin turbo kit for around 4-6K on it...and net the same results...and save yourself almost 10K....

I can piut you in touch with the ones identical to that one driving around town for Daily Drivers... great on gas, and flat out hall balls!
 


Not trying to thread jack but I didn't think this needed a new thread. How does the board feel about GTOs? I'm interested in getting one but I don't know too much about them.

If you can find one, preferably with a 6.0 instead of the 5.7, that is in good shape and a decent price.....JUMP ON IT!!:th_biggrin2: They are great cars IMO.
