I wrecked my car and now i am trying to put it back together but...
the body is total on my car. i found a body at a pick your part yard but they don't have any paper work and all the vins have been removed. can i "legally" buy the body put vins and plate on it and call it a day they only want 150 for the body and it is in perfect condition and i can not find any other body. its a 95 trans am BTW.
 


hell no! thats illegal as hell thats called tagging regardless if its not stolen call the state highway patrol theyll tell you if not come to ur house with warrents had a buddy that got in alota shyt for this:th_nervous:
 
are u talking about putting ur drivetrain in another body?? u can't (by law) retag another car with ur vin#'s, as stated above my post
 
sounds like a lot of work....any sentimental value to this car? if not, i would just scrap it...
