What do rims look best on?

I just picked up my set of 18's this weekend, I don't have a picture but thier 6 spoke chrome with a 2 inch lip. I currently have a 00 silver gt coupe, I'm thinking of upgrading to a 05 or 06 gt or gtp soon. I was wondering if anyone has any preference on which color would look best with these rims and what other upgrades would make it look nasty.

I think black or bright red look best with chrome. I don't know if the red on the 04+ GP's are a really bright red like the 97-03 but black is a safe bet.
