What do i need to do to stop knocking?

Lot of people told me to drop my pulley size to a 3.6", but what do I need to do to keep my 3.4" and stop KR. Ya its cold where Im from and I just got the new pulley, msd wires, and tune installed yesterday. Took it for a spin and all it does is flutter at 10psi from 50mph and up. I want it to stop not too smart with cars so thats why im asking. and no i havent scanned for KR but it never did anything of this before yesterday lol

Go back up to the 3.6 for now. Upgrade to 104 plugs or similar and get a tuner or have a custom tune done, then try the 3.4 again.

Ok, well, it looks like you have everything you need as far as supporting mods, so all I can think of is that your tune isn't right for your car.

thats what i thought when i told the guy i have a 3.4" he told me u should only run a 3.5" at the lowest or just a 3.6" and told me to buy some dp which i didnt think i needed cuz of my headers. So idk if he got it in his head that I wasnt putting the 3.4" on or not so you think its the tune?

You don't need a DP with headers, already has it. Go back up to a 3.6" before you do damage. Go ahead and get a tuner to dial it in.

You have to remember that the 05 supercharger is a more efficient blower than the earlier years so according to zzp a VS cam, or SS intercooler is also required with a 3.4" pulley.

I have a 3.5" pulley in a 98 gtp with a cold air intake and stock exhaust. I have headers, just need to mod them some before installing. I got the hp pro tuner software, started with a cross between 98 and 04 timing tables (should have just started with 04 timing table) and daily drove it for a few weeks, adjusting the timing daily to reduce knock to 0

3.4" is cam and intercooler territory like started already.

Your car with a 3.6" would probably beat your car with a 3.4" if its knocking...just sayin'...

People tend to want to get away with the smallest pulley they can. A better alternative is to make the most you can of the largest suitable pulley. Recognize that driving the blower faster than stock takes it further from peak efficiency.

So i should just go with a 3,6" cuz it is my daily driver and I don't wana do any damage to it. Cuz intercooler and cam is way more than what I wanted to do to it, but now that I have mps the pulley change should buch easier right?

boring.

i agree with this statement, but ill always be a fan of boost over timing. i just like how the car drives. it's all personal preference.
