• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Ordered an s2x cam, 60# injectors, AEM WB, 3.3 pulley, frictions and steels, and PCS.

I also booked my room in OCMD for cruise weekend and scheduled my tune at Race Proven Motorsports for may 3rd.

installed a aux port into my factory radio today, cost a whole whopping $3.45 cents!!!!!!! and it works.

i took my whole radio apart to get to the cd player only to find the damn thinnest ribbon cable known to man running to it and back to the board, so that was way out.

so my radio also has a tape deck, and its wired in with real wires. so i tapped into those wires.

I just bought the tape deck, bungied it to the floor, and put in a tape adapter. Much easier.

Looks kike I need to put some vasoline on the door seals to prevent freezing again.
Or crisco ;) LOL

jk.

So today, I mounted the sat radio. I've been waiting on my fm adapters to come in the mail, so everything is tucked in the dash nicely except for the power wire in the cigarette lighter, but if I'm bored one day I might tear into it and see if I can hard wire it in or find the mysterious cig lighter plug inside the console that I hear rumors about.
So here's pics of that.

And then also, Matt Palm was so kind as to buy and send me new Pontiac inlays since he heard that I power washed mine off. So I threw those on today as well.

Still need to get an oil change done and send off my oil sample with $25. And it wouldn't hurt to vacuum the damn thing either. But yep. That's all for now folks.

Put $10 in gas in it.spotted a 96' Vette grandsport first time seeing one in person ever. Drove to work. Left work. Floored it from a light enjoying alot of tire screeching and torque steer.Pulled on a diesel truck who thought he was bad.got home, that was my day.

Alright guys...

so after much deliberation with friends..

i've come to the realization that my car is in dire need of ALL new brakelines.

I have to press the pedal more than 40% before i get any bite at all.

but if i floor the brakes i'm putting your face into the windshield.

*My question is.*
Should i buy direct fit lines from a dealer, or coathangerabortion style them?

Decided to get to work getting this thing back on the road. Dropped my heads off at the machine shop to be hot tanked, magnaflux, resurfaced and ill be dropped some valve springs and retainers off when they come in the mail and have those installed at the correct height as well.

rusty lines dont make the pedal soft, bad master or bad rubber lines will tho.

rusty lines work just fine till the day they leak.

my concern is this.
if i bleed the system completely. replace anything that needs fixing.

and go drive the car with a correctly pressurized braking system.
i'd be putting more strain on the old lines. increasing my chances of popping a line. which what i'm trying to avoid.

so i'll go back to my original ?.

would it make more sense to buy new lines from a Stealership, or make my own?

here is somepics with the switchbacks in, I dont like it really because i had hit teh front with the nightshade. I prolly would of left em clear but someone had put a coat of something on it before and it was fading. the color is the same as my led strips but the VHT is throwing it off. so im in the market for good clear lenses. But here they are.
