• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

I can't stand white cars. White is just so plain to me.

Oddly though I have owned more white cars than any other color, but I also parted out 3 white 3000GT's/Stealth's. LOL

I like that it makes the car look "bigger" or more apparent. Plus, I can wash it, drive it, and not have it looking like ass within 5 minutes like my dad's charcoal grey regal.

Well job weld fix for cracked rim did not work. It slowed the leak down. Enough to make it till my replacement rims get here. The new rims will look way better cause their refinished like new. O well...good reason for me to go to junk yard to find a spare for my trunk

Sent from my pager using Morse code. ... .. ... ....

The GXP's brakes are clamping. That explains the wibble-wobble. It also makes me fear for my life now when driving.

I only found this out after jacking the car up, putting it in gear and giving it gas. The abs makes an aweful grinding noise every time the brakes clamp.

100% normal when the wheels are not on the ground. Anytime you take the drive wheels off the ground and give it gas or brake, the ABS and Traction control systems go all crazy because nothing is holding 1 tire back from spinning faster. Turn off the TC and it will work better.

I still don't understand what you mean by "clamping". The purpose of the brake caliper is to clamp the pads to the rotor.

^^^I honestly didn't know that was normal. Thx! What I ment by brakes clamping is that the brakes were stopping the wheels from spinning. But you said that's normal for a car lifted in the air. So then its bad tires or axles?

Do you mean the brakes are sticking on the slides and not releasing ? Do the slides need greased ?

If you were to have the drive wheels off the ground and throw it down into drive, the wheels should just spin on there own without any gas given, If they arent spinning your calipers might be hanging up.

I am still not sure what your original problem was, I guess I never saw it.

Yes the wheels spin freely in Drive. The original problem was the car shakes like crazy when driving. Gets worse the faster the car is going.
