Yeah. I did that with my eclipse. But not for resale purpose. I did it for a newer style dash. When I resold It I have buyer old one with actual mileage and new on (in car) with mileage of motor and tranny. I bought a wrecked car with 40k on it and put that motor tranny gauge and interior including gauge cluster in mine. (Newer style). Don't lie about the mileage when reselling. It can burn ya.

if you need a new cluster, you can always have the mileage set to match your old cluster.

if your just doing it to roll the clock back, dont be a dick. titles dont lie most of the time, and you will be caught.
 
Heavy D, are you going to sell your Prix?

After all that work you put into it. Or are you upgrading to a GT or GTP?

If you do change clusters keep track of the milage so the new owner knows what they are dealing with.

Or you get the official sticker that will show the mileage of the replaced cluster and the mileage of the replacement cluster.

I got my cone filter install done. I rechecked all my fluids from my complete fluid change last night, all are good...

about to put about 200 miles on it.

it didnt sound like it went away. hard to tell from the video. BUT, usually if it dont go away when reving and at a higher idle (when the oil pressure is up and will usually silence/quiet valve and lifter noise/chatter). It means its lower end type of deal as opposed to upper end.

I agree with letting him driving it for a while and when it craps out he can spring for L32 upgrade.
