What did you do to your Car today?

You woulda loved mine. Turned the corner and as soon as it finally shifted into second all you hear grindy grindy clickity clack. At first I thought I blew my engine..... then I realized my car was idling fine. I saw a post somewhere on here about second gear start and it made me think.... what if I try my third gear. I didn't chip any teeth on that one. So I just drove my fiancee's little scion xD out there turned the second gear start on shifted it into third and the sound went away. Gently put pressure on the gas and... IT MOVED! I just gotta make sure not to park it anywhere I have to reverse until I can bring it to my school

Rigged a pin switch under my hood for some lighting as I had some extra LED bulbs. Got one LED mounted by the headers/fans and I'm going to place one another down by the pulleys I think. Gives a cool looking under glow. I'll get a pic up once I do the other bulb this afternoon.

Should I place a small amperage in line fuse on the wiring to these bulbs? Any ideas?

What's an aero/package?

are the bulbs prewired for 12v? if they are you should be good to go

I think so? They're led replacements for my dome lights and then separately I ordered sockets with pigtails. Ran the black wire to the pin switch and the red straight to my batt.

I think I'm alright too, thanks for insight

Okay so yesterday I had no reverse no first I was sure I stripped my second and I had third. Now I just checked it and I have no reverse (acts like neutral but doesn't move freely) but I have first second third.... how could I have stripped reverse while driving?

I've just never pulled a tranny off the engine. How heavy are the auto trans anyway? The manuals i've carried have had decent weight
